Freezer / Icemaker odors - Ice Smells bad

There is a Whirlpool freezer deodorizer that uses carbon to neutralize odors in your freezer to help ice from having an odor.

You should also be able to clean the ice tray to help remove any odors that are contributing to bad smalling ice.

If you have a portable model that has the self clean feature, add a cap-full of vinegar or lemon juice to the tray before running the self clean.

If there is no self clean option, You can add a cap-full of vinegar/lemon juice mixed with water to fill the tray and allow two to three cycles of ice to pass through the icemaker.

I guess washing the Ice Trays definitely help . But Suggesting a whirlpool deodorizer is a much better option .
