  • Crystal Quest Canister O-ring help

I just purchased a Crystal Quest Eagle whole house system.

All 3 of the filter canisters leak and it appears that o-rings are to thin, do not seal.
Customer service was zero help, suggested I look around for better o-rings

Glad to here any suggestions here.

We had the exact same problem with the Crystal Quest stainless steel canisters. The gaskets flop around inside the cavity and they do not form a seal at all. Tech support told our plumber to use pipe dope, but of course that is a mickey mouse solution and that didn't work. I think they have some kind of manufacturing problem since you ran into the same problem that we had. We are having them send us a replacement. I hope that the new unit they are sending us won't have this problem. I'm not sure what they are thinking by sending these defective units out to their customers.

Well, I used nature's own and it's been great so far. I've never really tried Crystal Quest though.
