Water Dispenses Slow in AM ??

Hi,

Newbie here.

My GE Refigerator with Culligan water filter (5 years old) has a delay of up to 15 seconds in starting the flow of water. This delay only occurs the first time I use the dispenser each day. After that it works fine. Whassup?

Water line empty

It sounds like your water line empties overnight or when it has not been used for a while. The water then has to refill the line before coming out of the dispenser. That would be a best guess. As long as the filter has been replaced and the quality of water is good, it doesn't sound like a problem to be concerned about.
