Just installed a new Whirlpool 4396508 Refrigerator Filter Replacement. Almost immediately the water that was dispensed from our refrigerator was cloudy. Hard to tell if the water cloudiness was being caused strictly by bubbles or whether there was some sort of new filter shake-out going on. Water passing thru the previous filter did not look this way at any time - which makes me wonder if I incorrectly installed either the old filter or this new one. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hi Elliott,
Cloudy water after a new filter install is very common. It is air bubbles coming from the carbon in the filter. After a few gallons, this will stop. You can easily confirm by filling a glass of water and setting aside. The air bubbles will work their way out of the water leaving you will a clear glass of water.
