Contaminants filtered

We are on well water and have no need for filters that work to eliminate chlorine. It seems to me that chlorine is the only contaminant that these filters eliminate. The problem I do have is a metallic taste that I believe is the result of water running through copper pipes but may also be from the well water itself. What filters can be used to eliminate that type of problem?
