Filter Not Supplying Water

My reverse osmosis filter is having some trouble. I am not getting any water flow from it whatsoever.

I changed the small flavor filter, air tank, flow regulator on the waste line, all three initial stage filters, and the reverse osmosis element. Basically the only thing that I did not replace was a short, silver cylinder that has 4 tubes on it. I don't know what that is. I know that the water line to the filter is good, and I can even hear a trickle from the waste line, but I get no water to the taps.

Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? What other information do you need? And what pressure should I keep the tank at? I've been playing around with various pressures, but nothing seems to work.

How big is your tank? 3-gallon?

I'm not actually sure. It looks like it's about 2 gallons. But judging these things is kind of tricky, and it doesn't say the size anywhere on it.

it may be 3 to 5 gallons. try with some other..

Water weighs about 8lbs per gallon. If you casn put it on a scale you can tell about how much water is in it.

A 3-gallon tank should have about 1.2 gallons in it, or about 13 pound total. But if your tanks weighs over 30 pounds then your bladder is shot or there is no air in it.

If you open the faucet and only a splash come out and the tank is still heavy the tank is most likley bad. It should have a stem on the side to add air with an air pump and if you pump air in it with the faucet open it should push a little water out. Keep pumping some air into it until the tank is empty. At that point check the pressure and it should be adjusted to 5-7 psi. If it wont hold air or it does it again replace the tank, some just leak air over time.
