Thank you for your email. There are a couple of different systems that we offer that would reduce the minerals in your water. Can't quite follow your set up? Is the water you want treated hot or cold? What minerals are looking to remove? If the water is heated, how is it heated? in other words, a standard 30-gallon water heater, an instant hot continuous heater, etc.? Does you washer use cold water as well?

What kind of dishwasher is it? Conveyor-type? how many loads per day does it wash?

What is the hardness and iron content?

Most minerals that inhibit dish washrs is iron and calcium both of which can be taken out by a softener. I know of one softener that is actually designed to work on hot water if you are unable to place on BEFORE the water heater.

It is difficult to answer your question adequately without all the pertenent information.
