  • Kinetico VX Plus Deluxe Pressure

Hello. I have a Kinetico VX Plus Deluxe with a single line black tank on a well. Water pressure around 40 psi. I am going to add a refrigerator with ice and water to the system. I think 25' of 3/8" line will reach the refrigerator. It will have to be reduced to 1/4" at the refrigerator. I am thinking that I will need more water storage and pressure for this to work. My thoughts were to either add another tank or replace the tank that I have to a bigger one. Also thinking of adding a booster pump with a demand switch after the RO system to the refrigerator to boost the pressure. Will this work? Does a twin tank system work ok or is it better to have 1 bigger tank? Anyone have any experience with this?

If you have about 12 psi in the tank (empty) you'll be good to go. If need be you can move the tank closer to the fridge if possible (and, only if issues arise).
