  • Kinetico Drinking Water Systems Plus Delux e VX hook up

I have a Kinetico Drinking Water Systems Plus Deluxe VX with a Quick Flow Storage tank. I have water flow issues, when I open the spgot I get a 5 second burst of water then it slows down to a trickle. I suspect that I may need to replace the valves on top of the QuickFlow tank but before I go down that route, I wanted to make sure that there was not an issue with the way that I have it hooked up.

Is there any diagram of how this system should be hooked up?

I have been unable to locate a diagram online, but to me, it does sound like the valves need to be replaced.

The tank module has failed. Get a new one from a local dealer. It's the part on top of the tank where the lines tie in. It threads out, threads off of the collar that connects it to the bladder and is replaced easily. I always take the bladder out and check it while I have things opened up and then sanitize the unit when finished. Hope that helps.

Andy are you still around? Lol. Just noticed how old these threads were lol I just got a vx black tank. I'm using it for my salt water tank and just need help on what lines go where.

Yea, but not as much as before. Send me an email address and I can forward some pdf files.

We had a sales/service guy out because we are having the same issue. He said our membrane was bad. In a nut shell he said it would be cheaper to get a new system. Do we get this part at the kinetico dealer that you mentioned?

Hi Andy: can we purchase a holding tank from your company.

I don't have any new units. Using generic air-charged tanks can work, though.

Hi: how do I convert to an air charged tank with all the different lines that come out of a quick flo tank? Thank you.
