Flow seems really high, thought the membrane would slow it down.

Just replaced everything in a 4 stage with a ro membrane, and i was use to noticing a trickle of production, but now it seems like there is no resistance in the system. Was curious if i should expect that out of a new membrane or if i wired it up wrong, or that the shutoff value is inop?

the membrane was inserted with the two o rings first. Could it be that the membrane is too short or never sat. the lid end did tighten all the way down.

I'm not very experienced with this stuff so I can't answer your question, but one possible cause if you did everything else right is the membrane is ruptured.
