APEC RO-90 vs. Kinetico K5

Hello,

I'm looking at purchasing a RO system and came across a company called APEC. They have a model RO-90 and I'd like to know whether the K5 is worth the cost compared to the APEC RO-90. I'm aware of some of the unique features that the K5 provides but came across a several APEC reviews who have had the K5 in the past and stated that APEC's products are very comparable to the K5. I appreciate any input or suggestions.

The APEC RO has virtually no similarity to the K5. It is a generic RO and works on all the basic, standard methods. The price is much, much lower than the K5 but not at all comparable.

I couldn't add anything. He said what I was going to say. The K5 is so much more superior in every way that they are not comparable. If price is driving your purchase...go Apec. If you want something good that will last for years and deliver superior quality water with far less waste then go with the K5.
