  • ERO 375 RO system

I have an Eco Water system ERO 375 and I have had it off for about 6+ months because I needed new sediment filters and couldn't afford them.
I just went to the local dealer and asked them to sell me the sediment and carbon filters but they insisted I didn't need the carbon filter yet since it hasn't been five years.

I followed their advice but now the RO tank will not fill. I checked the air pressure in the tank and it was low, now it's empty but it still will not fill.

I believe the carbon filter is the problem.

water in >>valve >> pre filter >>> red line to spout drain >> RO carbon filter >> yellow line to tank | tank valve >> post filter >> blue line || tee to fridge and water spout

the prefilter pressurizes, water starts to go up the red line and out the drain, the RO filter will get water in it, but there's no water out of it to the yellow line or the post filter.
I let it sit overnight and I've drained the RO filter twice. Is the carbon filter ruined from sitting so long?

The dealer is closed on saturday and I'll put pressure back in the tank here after a while. Any advice would be welcome

Alright, the blue line was clogged but it clear now. No change. The postfilter has some water in it now but no pressure.
The yellow line to the tank is open and clear and is giving backpressure as expected.
The port where the yellow line attaches to the RO system leaks a bit if I tilt it 90 degrees but otherwise nothing.

According to the manual and other places I've looked on the net this means there is no flow restrictor on the red tube. (it was never removed..) or the RO membrane is fouled.. which was my first guess..
Looking at the manual it looks like the flow restrictor may be clogged too

Either way I need to wait to have it serviced. I'm not breaking the seal on it.
