Where do I connect the waste line?

I have a GE Smart Water RO system (Model GXRM10G). I disconnected the lines to replace all of the filters and membranes and now I'm unsure as to which line gets connected where. At the back of the RO membrane housing there are 2 places where the waste line and the supply line get connected. I read somewhere that the waste line should be connected to the off-center fitting. Help!
