  • Help Identify Cartridges & Make Replacement Suggestions

    Hi folks,

Man, you have *got* to love how easy the Internet has made it to get information fast, with pro's and lay-persons in every imaginable topic paying attention to boards like this. Thanks in advance for your help, filtration people!

I acquired the pictured system and there are no markings on the head or the filters to help ID any of it.

I have no concern about my water supply (though perhaps I should, I don't know), but my lady does so I thought I'd put the pictured filter system in for her, with new filters, of course.

I don't know a thing about filtration but I'm willing to spend money on a set of good quality filters to keep my lady happy.

Question: What replacement filters do you recommend I put into this thing for Silicon Valley suburb water supply (Mountain View, to be precise)? manufacturer and part numbers would be *greatly* appreciated, especially since these two canisters aren't identical, and one filter (the left one) is a little taller than the other.

    Thanks!!

    Chuck
