  • Whirlpool WHCF-SRC

I have one of these units that I purchased from Lowe's. I checked their web site today and it appears they no longer carry the replacement cartridge. Do you carry this item?

    Thanks!

    Solution for discontinued WHCF-SRC

    I have found the solution!

3M seems to be the new identity for these Whirlpool filters.

    Item 25975 / Model 3US-AF01 - $18.64
    or
    Item 54417 / Mofel 3US-PF01 - $27.83

Both replace the old WHCF-SRC replacement filter cartridges.

But have the UltraEase twist-in design and both fit the Whirlpool WHCF-SUF and WHCF-SUFC under sink water filters

I still don't know why there are two models with different prices, but at least we can keep using our water filters.

Plus now I know the difference

      Lowes Item 54975, Model 3US-AF01 $18.64
Reduces sediment, chlorine taste and odor
      Lowes Item 54417, Model 3US-PF01 $27.83
Reduces sediment, chlorine taste, odor and cysts

Once again, both will fit Whirlpool UltraEase WHCF-SUF and WHCF-SUFC systems

        Hi,
Whirlpool water filter is the whole house water filter. This filter uses the latest technology and removes all kinds of particles and pathogens from water. So, you don't only get great drinking water but also chlorine ad germ free water for washing, cleaning and all other purposes.
        Thanks.

Thank you for your contribution but please check the item first. This is not a whole house filter and what pathogens does it remove? I am not sure what "chlorine ad germ free water" means, when this filter removes chlorine.
