Hi. I'm kind of new to the whole water filtration scheme since until recently I've always lived in urban areas with good water sanitation. I am currently having a problem with iron and iron bacteria at my 1 bedroom unit in southwest China. I have been advised to do chlorine injection with retention tank, followed by a pyrolox filter.
The water company here is rather mysterious and doesn't like to provide much information, though I have been able to determine that they are using chlorine dioxide "CLO2" as a disinfectant. They must not be treating the water properly, else I wouldn't be having an iron bacteria problem. If I want to do chlorine injection using common household bleach, would it possibly have any bad reactions with byproducts of the chlorine dioxide?
I ran a few small water tests, but I am not sure how accurate or complete the data is.

I am pretty certain that the iron contamination is coming from poor quality iron pipes used in the water distribution network (all the plumbing in my building is PVC). I am told the source of the water is from natural springs (this place is 7000ft above sea level). I want to make sure that I do everything properly to effectively eliminate the iron and iron bacteria which muck up all my appliances and laundry. Are there any objections or recommendations to the proposed configuration?
