Best Filters Needed!

I have a triple standard blue filter housing in line (3) 9.75 X 2.5 ok.
I am pulling from a state river and the mud and big stuff are killing me. Please suggest the best 3 filters that will last the longest and filter best. Perforance over price. Thanks so much I am thinking a 2 pleated sediment of different micron and then the carbon.

Based on the information you've provided I am going to suggest the following filters. I have chosen Aqua Pure filters because they tend to last 30% longer than comparable filters because of the time and effort put into their construction. **Please note, this is also the order in which the water should hit these filters for maximum flow and efficiency**

AP124 (50 micron)
AP111 (25 micron)
AP117 (5 micron carbon) OR the GAC1 by OmniFilter
