Hey all... Just had a quick question. We just bought our first home and I'm always looking at ways to improve or raise the value of it. We were offered a GE water treatment system a few months ago and I was just curious if we should have gotten it or not. We didn't get it because it was $2500... should we have gotten it? Was that a "steal" for a water treatment system for the entire house?

2500 for a GE Autrol valve and what kind of media in what size tank?

Sounds close to the price for one of my systems installed....

What kind of water do you have , iron hardness, ph smell... and the number of people, number of bathrooms, number of bedrooms... they all factor into the type and size of equipment needed for any given house.

                We are good, no problems.

Upgrade, have you found out any information on the water? Is there a need for the treatment?
If the water in the house could use treatment, then what kind of water quality are you looking for after the treatment system?

This is not a one Size fits all... People are different, water is different..

I think you're losing it and seeing things that aren't there. Maybe hearing things too.
