Hello,Can anyone tell me what kind of test we most have done to analysis what we have in our cistern?Had 2x done,still don't know why we have blackish,dark brown sediment @ bottom when test say's mim.amout of manganese?
test =PH 7.34
=Iron <0.0100
=Hardness 192 or 12grms
=Tds 262.0000
=Total Coliform 6
=E-Coil Positive
First will have a 2nd Manganese test BUT what else can we have tested before I place a Ultraviolet Purifier in?I have a softern and will replace the bed with greensand or birm? Can this blackish sediment be a mold?Thank-you!!!!!

What is the source of your water for the cistern? Have you ever sanitized it? if so, how? How old is it and what is the material that makes up its wall? Concrete, stone? What is the condition of the walls inside your toilet tanks?

hello Andy,Source=well 80ft
Sanitized=bleach 2cups
Wall=plastic tank 400gl
Toilet=7mths old
Just wanted to know what blackes/dark brown might be?Maybe just dirt?if it is not Iron or manganes I have a 20in in-line filter 1 micron,anyhoo thank you and keep-on-truckkin!!!!
