  • Whole house water filter - less pressure after changing

A few months ago we had decreased water pressure all over the house. We just moved in recently. Found out I had to change my whole house water filter. The other day, it happened again. I changed the filter but the pressure was still down. I tried another filter and still down. I removed the filter and the pressure went back to normal. I have tried it over and over again and nothing helps except removing the filter.
    What do I check next?

Are you on municipal water or your own well? What is the incoming pressure before the filter? What is it after? What size and type of plumbing supply is it?
