Iron / Manganese Backwash Filter System, Want to try a new Media.

I have read in these forums about the Terminox System, I already have a system installed it's not a Terminox system but wondered if i could use the same media mixture, one of greensand and pyrolox? How much of each would i use? or does it come pre-mixed when you buy the media? The system i have is the same setup as the Terminox but has different valves. I can still set it to backwash as often as i like. The media i currently use is Birm and it's not as effective as i would like it to be. I have Iron, a little Iron bacteria, Manganese, and Sulfur in my water.
What is the name of and Where can I buy the same media that is used in the Terminox system? I Just want to try a different media in my system, might work better that Birm.
