Specs say Press. Range: 30 - 125 PSI, does this mean that the system will not work on my water well system at pressure of 5 - 30 PSI ? If not, need recommended replacement for discontinued Whirlpool filter assy.

Silly question...but, why and how would you be running under 30PSI?The only systems I've seen in my area that even came close were amish systems running an air pump. And, once we installed a treatment system that had to get cranked up to stay above 30...40 ideally.Originally posted by mzbeaver View PostSpecs say Press. Running at 5 - 30 PSI because when I bought the house ten years ago, that is what it was set at. I know nothing about the pump even how old it is. Installed Whirlpool wholehouse filter, has worked fine. Whirlpool unit discontined, filters priced out of sight. Want to change to something more readily available. Open for suggestions.
