clay shale in new well

I built a new house and had a well drilled. The well has produced the darkest thickest clay, we have let it run for 2 to 3 days at a time it will clear then turn gray again producing clay shale. The well guy raised the pump to 125ft in a 195ft well and after couple hours it ran perfectly clear for week and a half then was gray again. I ran the water for 4 hours and it has been clear again for 2 weeks, now its gray again but after 2 hours it has cleared up but not all the way. What is happening ????

Outside of the clay shale, have you tested the water to see any other kind of issues that may be present?

It had Lil hardnest and some iron but a had a good water softener installed and checks good now
